What is a Health Coach?

Have you ever received good advice that you were unable to follow? Has your doctor ever recommended a lifestyle change that you found to be unsustainable? Have you ever wanted something in your life, but found you couldn’t achieve it alone?

Health Coaches are knowledgeable advisors who provide ongoing support and guidance as you set goals and make sustainable changes that improve your health and happiness. As your Health Coach, I will listen carefully and help you to navigate the world of contradictory nutrition advice to determine what changes are necessary for you. I will not replace your MD or force you to follow an eating plan you are not comfortable with. I am here to help you come up with easy, fun, sustainable lifestyle changes that will make a big difference in your health and well-being.

My goal as a health coach is to help people live the life they dream of. We will address food, movement, relationships, career, and spirituality. I believe that to live a holistic life, one has to take all of these factors into account. If someone’s career is less than ideal, then it’s more likely that they will turn to food (or something else) to comfort them from their work stresses and fill that hole. Whatever it is, it’s important to take some time to have a good look at your life, come up with goals/actions plans to achieve these goals, and start executing them!  I want to help! Life is here to enjoy, so I want to help you find things you enjoy eating, movement that you look forward to doing and anything else you desire.
